Jessica Simpson showed off sexy hair but tried a bit too hard with the outfit performing at the California State Fair in Sacramento last night. Jessica's plaid and turquoise help her country look, but now she's made her entrance into the genre official by joining the Country Music Association and adding more credibility to her new sound. Country may have helped Jess pull out of a tough place, but it has also gotten her back on stage like it's the first time with her state fair tour. The next big hurdle for Jess will be when the album actually hits stores in a few short weeks Sept. 9.

Brody Jenner turned 25 last week, and to celebrate he packed up his favorite starlets and headed to Mexico to celebrate. Audrina and LC slipped into their bikinis to hit the beach at the LG Villa in Cabo before partying until the wee hours with margaritas and birthday cake. Guess these kids can afford the works considering how much they're getting paid. Looks like this trip was all about relaxation with minimum drama, so it was a good thing Heidi, Spencer, and their shopping cart of love weren't invited.

Last night he hosted a poker tournament, which brought out friends like Sarah Silverman about whom Ben joked to Extra, "Well, I?ve been dating her ex-boyfriend [Kimmel] for sometime. Other than that, we get along really well." While Ben is busy having fun and getting political, Jen is proving that big heart isn't reserved for Violet ? she's yet another celebrity who will be attending the Stand Up to Cancer event.

Your favorite Hills girl, Whitney Port, didn't appear to be missing her friends back in LA yesterday as she got cozy with a new guy outside the Diane von Furstenberg offices in NYC. Judging from the cameras behind her, it looks like Whitney was working on her rumored new show, although for the time being she's still very much a part of The Hills' drama. On last night's episode, she got promoted at People's Revolution while things continued to heat up between Lo and Audrina. After partying it up with Donald Trump on Saturday night, Ali Larter and fiancé Hayes MacArthur had some fun playtime time with their dogs on Malibu Beach Sunday afternoon.
